About This Experience
In a world that asks us to perform, push, and stay productive, it’s easy to lose touch with the quiet intelligence of the body. The whispers of sensation, curiosity, and pleasure beneath the noise. Even when we carve out time for ourselves, familiar mental scripts can creep in: “I should be doing more,” “I don’t have time for this.”
Pleasure Rising is an invitation to return to yourself. Slowly, curiously, and with reverence. Guided by Maxine Fischer, a certified Somatic Sex Educator and embodiment coach (of Body Beloved), this immersive experience creates a held space for pleasure, sensation, and inner awareness to emerge through movement, breath, and sensory exploration.
The first portion of the evening blends somatic embodiment, mindful movement, and sensory rituals, guided by principles of nervous system attunement and somatic language. There is no choreography, no performance. Just intentional space for the body to speak and for participants to explore presence, curiosity, and pleasure in ways that feel authentic and grounded. Each participant will be given a luxury Intelligent Change journal to use throughout the experience and take home afterward. This journal becomes a companion for reflection, integration, and continued embodiment long after the evening has ended. This practice is about permission, not effort. It’s a remembering, a reclaiming of sensation as information, and an embodied experience of aliveness that participants can bring into their everyday life.
Following the movement and embodiment portion, the evening flows into Opal’s luxurious practitioner‑led social. A space to integrate, rest, and receive support through complimentary mini wellness sessions in private treatment rooms.

What to Bring / How to Prepare
Wear something that feels comfortable for movement and sitting. Layers are ideal so you can adjust as your body warms or cools. You are welcome to choose colours that feel alive and expressive to you.
Arrive 15 minutes early to settle into the space. Doors will close 5 minutes after the start time to honour the immersive journey of the group.

Maxine Fischer is a somatic sex coach and embodiment guide whose work focuses on grounding sensual awareness, nervous system regulation, and embodied presence.
