The Experience:
Set on the remote shores of Nitinat Lake, this is a few days to fully unplug, learn something new, and settle into a slower rhythm of lake life. In collaboration with Elevation Kiteboarding, you’ll spend your days on the water learning kiteboarding or wing foiling with some of the most experienced instructors in the region, and your evenings grounded in good food, connection, and rest. This retreat is for anyone craving a reset, whether you’re coming solo or with a friend. Expect a little salt and dirt, a lot of laughter, and the kind of energy you only get from being fully outdoors and fully present.
What’s Included:
Daily kiteboarding or wingfoiling lessons with Elevation Kiteboarding (approx. 3 hours/day on the water)

What’s Not Included:
Breakfast + lunch (please bring your own for each day) - snacks will be available but plan to bring some snacks to the beach for between lessons.
Transportation to Nitinat Lake.
If you’re having trouble getting to the lake, we’ll coordinate a group chat closer to the date to help arrange carpooling.
The Flow of the Weekend:
August 19: Arrival
Arrive at Sven’s Bay in the early evening. Boat transfers to camp run at 6pm and 7pm.
Once settled, we’ll gather for a casual welcome, property tour, and overview of the days ahead. The rest of the evening is yours to unwind and ease into lake life.
August 20–22: Ride, Rest, Repeat
Each morning, we’ll meet at the marina at 10am and head to the kiteboarding school together.You’ll spend your days on the water with Elevation Kiteboarding instructors, building confidence in either kiteboarding or wingfoiling. Expect around 3 hours of water time daily, with breaks to rest and refuel.Jojo, our mobility instructor, will lead a daily recovery or stretch session to keep your body feeling good throughout the retreat.By late afternoon (~5pm), we’ll return to camp for dinner and downtime. Evenings are intentionally unstructured. Think slow meals, sunset hangs, and connection.
August 23: Departure
Breakfast, pack up, and boat transfers back across the lake at 10:30am and 11:30am.
Choose Your Adventure:
Choose between kiteboarding or wingfoiling.After booking, you’ll receive an email to select your preferred discipline. Final groupings may shift slightly on-site depending on conditions and group size.
Accommodation Options:
All stays are rustic, comfortable, and designed to keep you close to the experience. This is lake life, not luxury hotel living. King Room (Double Occupancy Only)
Private room with a king bed for two people. Ideal for friends or couples wanting more space and privacy. Shared Cabin Room
Two separate beds in a shared room within the main cabin. A great balance of privacy and connection. Glamping Tent
One spot in a shared tent (max 9 guests). The most social and immersive option. Fall asleep to lake sounds after full days outside.
What to Bring:
Wetsuit, booties, warm layers, lunch/snacks for the day, water, and an openness to try something new.
Important Details:
Weather Policy: If conditions are fully rained out for the duration of the retreat, a full refund will be issued. We will confirm this with reasonable certainty the week of the event. Please keep an eye on your email. Cancellations: Partial refunds are available if you cancel for personal reasons. Tickets are fully transferable and can be sold or passed to someone else if you can no longer attend. Fridge Access: Shared fridge space is available at the cabin for guest use.
